Krishna Janamashtami  is a day to celebrate the advent of Krishna on to the earth. it's a day to actually rejoice for the advent of spiritual consciousness on earth, in a very complete and at the same time all embracing form. Not the austere yogi sitting in the mountains and meditating but a person playing, walking around, running around.

For me, meeting a very extraordinary person very early in life, is something which I am ever, ever thankful about. Because, that time I was like clay--shapeless.

The Satsang Vidyalaya has come a long way from when Sri M in one of his initial exploratory walks in Nakkaladdini village near Madanapalle circa 1999, came across a number of children from the Lambadi community herding cows and goats or just loitering in the surrounding fields with no access to education, proper nutrition, health or sanitation. 

As we complete a year of ArogyaM, it is extremely heartening to record that we have done over 400 consultations for villagers in a span of 9 months, making us set up a separate OPD with minimal consultation charges to make Ayurvedic healthcare affordable to the villagers around.

The practice of Asanas makes the body flexible and supple. However, before you jump directly into performing beautiful-looking but complicated Asanas, let us understand what Yogic warm ups or Sukshma Vyayamas are, and why they are important.

The Satsang Foundation is actively involved in various initiatives in the Education, Health and Environment sectors across India, touching millions of lives with the support of donors and volunteers.  All donations to The Satsang Foundation are exempt from Income Tax U/S 80 G of the IT Act.
