How to Face Challenges in this World
|
We live in this world and it offers us lots of challenges. When we are thinking that everything is going, something happens and everything goes off balance. Putting ashes on the face or having matted hair or wearing some peculiar dress, doesn't change anything. It is basically the fear of the world that makes people run away like that. Important is how to face this world.

Sun: The Symbol of Primordial Energy
|
Sun’s energy provides Prana (life force) to all that exists on this planet. In practices like Sun salutations, the aim of the practitioner is to align this energy flow in his/her own body with the Sun. This alignment allows the practitioner to experience the same source of energy as that which emanates from the Sun. In Hatha Yoga, this is significant, as the foundation of this discipline of yoga lies in balancing the energies of Sun and Moon.

Yoga Also for the Godless
|
Based on a profound understanding of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, this is a step-by-step guide to the theory and practice of yoga for those who seek to know it better, and also for the young and the millennial, who may be stepping out for the first time. In lucid prose, with photographs for visual aid, Sri M takes us through the most complex notions of breath, body and posture with admirable brevity and clarity.

He came from nowhere to the sleepy little suburb of Tirumala. He called himself Shunya, the ‘void’. His unusual behaviour evoked varied reactions among the inhabitants. Some considered him a wizard; others thought he was raving mad. Some others were enamoured and thought of him as an avadooth, an enlightened soul, and started worshipping him—they called him Saami.
He chose to live in a small hut beside the local toddy shop, where he spun fascinating parables, hugged, kissed, cursed, kicked, drank black tea, and lived in total freedom. On rare occasions, he would play soul-stirring melodies on his old, bamboo-reed flute. Those who happened to hear him swore they had never before been moved so deeply.
This is the story of Shunya Saami, the zero-man, and his adventurous life.
