Sri M narrates the story of Nachiketas, a young boy, discussing the important question of Death and immortality with Yama, the Lord of Death.

On 15th February, 2024, Sri M did the pran pratishtha (consecration) of the Sri Guru Babaji Temple at Nooranad, Kerala, a first in Southern India.

 In a convergence of spirituality and modern science, the International Yoga Research Foundation (IYRF) recently hosted a landmark event - ‘Colloquium on Yoga and Life Sciences and Beyond (YLSB): Emerging Possibilities for a New World Order’ at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB). Over two enlightening days on February 17th and 18th, 2024, the foundation unveiled a vision that resonated with luminaries and scholars alike. 

Yogavidya stands at the confluence of two profound philosophies—Yoga and Vedanta (Uttara Mimamsa)—offering a holistic path for spiritual seekers. By exploring the core messages of both philosophies, we can understand how their union in Yogavidya serves as a guide for integrating spiritual principles into everyday life.

It is true that the presence of a Spiritual Master is a blessing and aids one’s journey tremendously. At the same time, it is also true that a spiritual aspirant must do his own ‘Purusharth’ – self-study; while treasuring the gift of the ‘Teachings’, he must assimilate these.  Maybe, recognising the necessity of a conducive environment, Sri M has envisioned a Retreat Centre for Swadhyaya – for Self-Study.

Learning is more meaningful when it is experiential in nature - moving from concrete to abstract. Experiential /hands-on learning is a highly encouraged medium at The Peepal Grove School. Biological concepts are learnt through organic farming,composting and bird watching. Physics and Chemistry through carpentry and pottery and repairing electrical items.

Kathopanishad  is the story of Nachiketas, son of Vajashravas, discussing the important question of Death and immortality with Yama the Lord of Death. 
Prashna : As the name indicates, it is an Upanishad that questions everything, including the concept of the Guru and Disciple. A great rishi proclaims to his students that if they abide with him for sometime, at the end of that period he would teach them the Truth if he himself has understood it.  
Mundaka: The Mundaka Upanishad derives its name from the shaven head of the renunciant. Therefore the central theme of the Upanishad is the Brahman, the Supreme Truth and the only Reality, and how to understand it.
